Who Killed Lynsey Nolan ? - Hollyoaks

Firstly welcome to the new blog everyone, we will be updating all things Hollyoaks. Well that took everyone by surprise didn't it ?. So Lynsey Nolan is dead and we have a list of suspects as long as our arm.

It has been a while since Hollyoaks has had a "who done it" storyline, the last was "Who Shot Calvin Valentine ?" and before that "Who Pushed Claire Devine ?". So heres hoping the "Who Killed Lynsey Nolan ?" story perks up a rather mediocre Hollyoaks of lately.

Silas

Silas the incarcerated serial killer grandfather to Riley and the Costello family played mind games with Lynsey for months and even tried to kill her. Unfortunatly for the Costellos he accidently killed his own daughter who he mistook as Lynsey due to fancy dress and was caught not long after.

Silas has since been locked away in a high security mental hospital after being declared insane, but in the world of Hollyoaks you can never rule him out. Everyones a suspect.

Ally Gorman

Australian Ally is Amy's current boyfriend and has a air of mystery surrounding him. He and Brendans's business associate Walker both seem to be linked in some way but not alot is known about either of them or their past yet. The way Ally reacted by shouting and grabbing the gun off Leah, i reckon he and Walker may have been served in the army at some point.

Doesn't really have a strong enough motive to want to kill Lynsey as she hardly had anything on him other than visiting a strip club.

Walker

Another mysterious character who has suddenly popped up out of the woodwork and already gotten Brendan and Joel into some trouble due to his murky underworld dealings. Walker was the one to introduce Brendan to Sampson until a drug deal went wrong that caused Joel to get stabbed. After Brendans knee jerk revenge, Sampson kidnapped Joel and locked him in the van with a "dead" grenade unknown to Joel.

After Brendan returned to find his club had been smashed up and the takings stolen from the safe, Walker conviently had to leave, only for Brendan to moments later find Lynsey dead in the flat.

Mercedes McQueen

Mercedes has recently gone full whacko since the breakdown of her relationship with Riley Costello after cheating with his dad Carl. For months she has played with Mitzee by pretending to be her stalker. Mercedes recently stabbed herself during an altercation with Mitzee in order to get closer to Riley and with Lynsey finding out that it was her who was stalking Mitzee all along, what length's will Mercedes go to cover up her tracks ?.

Sampson

Sampson was the drug dealer that Walker introduced Brendan too. Brendan sent Joel to do the deal but things didn't end well and Joel ended up getting stabbed. Brendan and Walker paid Sampson a visit afterwards and since then Sampson has paid revenge by kidnapping Joel and smashing up The Loft nightclub.

Too obvious a choice for me and id be very surprised if it was him who killed Lynsey.

Dr Browning

Dr Browning is the sleazy doctor who works at the same hospital that Lynsey was a nurse at. He and Mercedes have a past history with him paying her for sex. It seems Dr Browning has recently developed his interest in Mercedes and has been at her bedside in hospital whilst she was sleeping. He also gave Mercedes a lift back to Hollyoaks village and was conviently on hand to preform CPR on Lynsey.

My Verdict

I think its Dr Browning, all the other suspects i.e Mercedes, Walker, Ally and even Silas are all far too obvious. I think we will see some flash back scenes where Dr Browning finds the picture of Mitzee's face scored out in the hospital bed bin and questions Lynsey over it. It seems Dr Browning has a thing for Mercedes and he just happened to be on the scene ready to give CPR.

Not only that but he and Lynsey have never really seen eye to eye and he had a look on his face like he already knew she was dead.

Sad to see Lynsey go, she was one of the stronger female characters in Hollyoaks and we wish Karen Hassan all the best for the future.
